Tutto ebbe inizio in un’ardente mattinata estiva, con temperature che oscillavano dai 29 ai 39°C e la mancanza di vento rendeva il tutto sempre più avverso. Erano ormai quasi due ore che calpestavo dei ripiani che tutto potevano sembrare, tranne che gradini … deformati, scivolosi e mai nessuno con la stessa quota. La mancanza di ombra e di zone di sosta stavano rendendo il mio zaino nikon sempre più insopportabile, ed i piedi ormai insensibili erano equivalenti a quelli di un fachiro dopo una camminata sui carboni ardenti. Ormai esausto, mi fermai per bere un goccio di acqua … e fu così che mi voltai per la prima volta … ore 14:45, avevo raggiunto il punto più alto della muraglia … ore 14:45, stavo in paradiso.

It is not easy to get something original from something really really famous. I\'ve tried to achieve the result in shooting the world famous Mont Saint Michel through my personal style; so great clouds, a high sky, and warm and rich colors. Sincerely I hope I have got the result of doing something \"mine\". If not, Mont Saint Babel it is mine anyway!
