During the Euromaidan in 2013, there were protests and clashes with police throughout Ukraine, especially at the Maidan (central square) in Kiev, which was occupied and barricaded by protesters, along with some administrative buildings. Since that day, the Ukrainian people suffered the separation of part of their country and the drama of the civil war. Maidan 2020 is now the heart of Ukraine’s future life.
