Luskentyre Beach - E' stata la mia prima e per ora l'unica volta che ho visto l'aurora boreale. Durante il mio viaggio in nord Scozia con i miei tre amici, guardando il meteo abbiamo visto che la possibilità di vedere l'impossibile; di noi solo il più esperto l'aveva vista ancora. Appena finita la luce del tramonto siamo andati a cenare in auto e ci siamo fatti raccontare l'emozione della prima volta e come poterla cogliere al meglio. Ad un certo punto blocca tutto e ci chiede se quello in cielo era un bagliore verde. Lo era. Era veloce e sinuosa, la miglior danza a cui abbia mai assistito e l'emozione era tanta.

Our journey starts from here, from one of the most famous of the many waterfalls in Iceland, Öxarárfoss. "Useless" describe the emotion you feel when you are ahead of these wonders that, despite having seen in the billions of times, live always feel that emotion that knows how to take and take your breath away.

If someone, one day, had told me, that my first photo of the Milky Way would been taken in a place like this one, I would never trusted him. However in a warm summer night, around midnight, I found myself seated in the red sand of the desert in the Navajo reservation, at the foot of the most world famous rock monuments. Just the time to screw in my fisheye lens, crank up the ISO, set the focus, and I was shooting one of the most wonderful scenarios I've ever seen. it is difficult to describe the emotion of the moment, but I can swear, it was absolutely overwhelming.

Every sunset is a miracle of nature.
